RM 2:0 Mallorca

Even without goals from Cristiano Ronaldo, Real Madrid beat Mallorca 2-0 at the Bernabeu. Newman was holding the visiting team, but could not prevent defeat.

Ronaldo had, so far, 13 goals in 13 games, but this was left blank. With Kaka's return to the team, Real Madrid stepped in after just seven minutes with a great goal by Higuain. Granero came on 20 minutes to render the injured Van der Vaart, and made the second goal of the night, in the second part (49m). Higuain crossed from the right and the Spanish midfielder appeared at the far post to finish.

Ronaldo tried the usual goal until the end, but was not happy and to finally see a yellow card for kicking the ball with the game stopped.
