Hundreds of members of the media and dozens of fans gathered at Sanitas La Moraleja Hospital to greet Cristiano Ronaldo prior to his medical checkup. According to Carlos Diez, Chief of Real Madrid's Medical Services, the player is "in perfect condition and looking forward to the beginning of the season."

Cristiano Ronaldo arrived in Madrid for one of the most intense days of his life. The player arrived at Sanitas La Moraleja Hospital shortly after 13:00 to undergo his required medical checkup.

Chief of Real Madrid's Medical Services, Carlos Diez affirmed that Ronaldo has "extraordinary lung and cardiac capacity" and explained that the checkup "complemented everything we did in Portugal and all the specific tests." After Ronaldo successfully completed a biomechanics study, "we can now begin working in a personlized manner in order to improve performance," added the Doctor.
