CRISTIANO RONALDO is frozen out of Manchester United’s European clash at home to Aalborg tonight.
But it will not stop him bringing some warmth to Old Trafford.
The Portuguese winger will show off his European Footballer of the Year award before United’s final Champions League group game against the Danish outfit — who axed ex-Arsenal boss Bruce Rioch last month.
Ronaldo, 23, will not be fit to play having suffered a hip injury during the 1-0 Premier League victory against Sunderland on Saturday.
He has only been able to do some light jogging at the club’s Carrington Training Complex as they prepared for tonight’s game.
But you still will not be able to keep the Portuguese star off centre stage — as the Ballon d’Or makes an appearance at the Theatre of Dreams for the first time since George Best won it in 1968. Read more...
