RM 4:1 Valladolid; Cristiano scoring in five consecutive weeks






Cristiano Ronaldo's goal against Valladolid at the Jose Zorrilla Stadium allowed him to emulate his own best goal scoring streak in a league competition. The Portuguese player has netted strikes consecutively against Xerez, Villarreal, Tenerife, Sevilla and Valladolid. By scoring against Sporting Gijon next week, he will break his own personal mark.

Ronaldo netted strikes in five consecutive weeks during one of his seasons at Manchester United, against Derby County, Bolton, Liverpool, Aston Villa and Middlesbrough. He tallied 42 goals in total that year, winning the Golden Boot, the Ballon d'Or and the FIFA World Player awards.

The Portuguese star is Real Madrid's current top scorer, having netted strikes in all of the competitions the team has participated in this season. He is the squad's second top striker in La Liga behind Higuain.
